Just hit ctrl+j when you are in the header section composing your email.

but that asks for files to attach. But I am looking to forward few eamils as an attachment to one single email. How can I do that?

Thanks

You may select the emails to forward and then forward them all at once:
A[pply] F[orward]. At least when the H[eader] toggle is set, they will be
included as attachments.

This is enough for just forwarding emails. I have yet to find a way to
include an email along with other attachments in a letter composed not as
a forwarding. In simple cases, one may start as forward and then change
the letter, but this may become awkward when trying to attach multiple
emails from multiple folders along with multiple other attachments.

There is a bug in forwarding mail.
When you select forward as attachment, alpine will ignore the messages
charset and set it to US-ASCII instead.

There is a workaround;
- Postpone message (after attaching).
- Open mail/postponed-messages in a text editor.
- Change the charset of the attachment(s) from US-ASCII to the right
value (it's in the headers of the original message, just CnP).
- Save.
- Continue message in alpine.

You can check the charset by opening 'postponed-messages' in alpine. It
should display all non-ascii correctly.

Regards,
Rob
