Can't sort by threads in Mutt's inbox?

Hi!
How come I can't sort my inbox's e-mails by threads, but I can with my sent e-mails? I see no changes and messages (e.g., errors) when I press o (sort) and t (thread) keys.

checks for new mail and indicates this in my xfce-panel. What I would
like to do is having a function inside mutt which does this check for me
and print new/unseen of all the maildir folders in my main tree in mutt,... more »
