Hello.

Is it possible to have one Mutt v1.5.21 (2010-09-15) client session use
more than one e-mail servers (e.g., POP3 and IMAP) and still share the
same local Mutt files without problems? This is on Linux boxes (64-bit
Debian and Fedora stables). If not, then how about two Mutt sessions
going with each connected to the different servers and still using the
same local Mutt files?

Thank you in advance. :)

No problem in Imap, just use the imap(s)://server/box syntax.

OK, what about POP3 servers?

Presumably, for a POP3 server you're downloading the mail from that
server to your local Debian/Fedora box, and then accessing it at an
mbox, right? That's how I used to use POP3. You need to configure
fetchmail to get the mail from your POP3 server, and then in mutt you
add another mailbox config (like the imap(s)://server/box thing above)
pointing to /var/spool/mail/yourname

Or can I run multiple Mutt sessions with it and others, and share the
same data files locally (sent, inbox, etc.) without problems?

I forgot to mention that i do not run these Mutt and Linux servers. I am
just a regular SSH2 user/client without su(do) access.
