Today's NYT (Nov 15) has an article on the HDTV competition. It seems
that General Instruments has put in a all-Digital HDTV into the
competition, and that all the other contenders want to replace
their proposals with new digital version before the dec 31 deadline.
(except for the Japanese).
Does anyone have any info on the compresion scheme (JPEG, MPEG) and
pixmap size of the GI set?
