When the typo. is corrected, it doesn't make sense: Recipe Wizard four the

No email address at "adtechcomputers.com"?

That makes no sense.

Custom MID. They can say anything.

Anyone can put anything in that header. If it was real
there would be a URL to a website.

Garbage. That's a forgery.

Nope.

ab...@readnews.com (maybe)

More likely: ab...@usenetserver.com

<article not downloaded:
http://slrn.sourceforge.net/docs/README.offline>

Why are you having this post removed from the Usenet Archives?

If you were on the up-and-up there would be no need for you
to hide your tracks.

As long as that header is there my newsfilter won't download
your articles. Just the headers.

I'd advise against having anything to do with this fellow.

Far too much credit there. I find it ironic that the Beavis posts with a munged
email address. Is the cretin worried it might be spammed? I thought that
was what it's mindless C/R system was supposed to solve. Or, maybe
it's hiding from the Bigfoot girlfriend.

  Come on! "4" as short-hand for "for" has been in use for decades, i.e.
even well before the current age of IM/chat/texting/SMS/<whatever> speak.

The email world needs a good GUI for procmail, but I think you'll
get a lot more users if you:

  * make it free/gratis
  * make it a web-based app rather than a MS-Windows-based app

My guess is that you'd also make a lot more money that way too,
e.g., via donations and referral fees to hosting providers that
offer Procmail.

Just some thoughts,
  Good luck with this project!

I had to think about this a little bit, but you're right.  It's now
freeware.

Unfortunately I have no knowledge in programming web based apps.  It's
written in C++ using VC6/MFC.  I've already invested a great deal of
time into it, hopefully some people will find it useful.

Excellent!

I don't have an MS Windows machine so I can't test this, but I've
added a blurb about it on my Procmail Quick Start and added it to
my del.icio.us bookmarks.

The next step in getting users (and getting people invested in it
personally) is to open the source and give it a free/libre
license. It's sometimes hard to make that jump, but it' almost
always the best thing to do these days, especially for a tool
like this. I've written about this "freeing" of software here:

   Freeing the IMAP Clients
   <http://deflexion.com/2006/08/freeing-imap-clients>

This article was inspired by changes in the IMAP-client
landscape, but it's happening all over the software world.

Hope this is useful,
  Nancy
