  I liked this statement. Anyway I solved it with help of procmail &lt;br&gt; recipe. &lt;br&gt; I am reading subject and associating that email with record. subject &lt;br&gt; has &lt;br&gt; record id. If user manipulated subject line, I will send mail back to &lt;br&gt; submitter &lt;br&gt; asking him to provide record id. &lt;br&gt; Again thank you all for your information.   Let me be clear. in my organization people use many MUA like alpine, &lt;br&gt; mutt, elm, AppleMail, Thunderbird and JavaMail. &lt;br&gt; So there are MUAs which allow user to change headers. I am looking for &lt;br&gt; immutable header that propagets throu emails threads. &lt;br&gt; Thanks
