Help Needed: Duplicate Emails Keep Coming Back

Hi there. In the last couple of days, I am getting duplicates of emails I've already downloaded. Even if I delete them, they come back multiple times. This is very strange, since I don't keep them out on the server. And they are also coming down as unread. Any thoughts on how to correct this problem?... more »

Eudora crashes with "Find Messages"

I have a client who has a couple installations of Eudora at home (v7.1.0.9). He has the same version installed in the office. In the office, he can use "Find Messages" against local and IMAP mailboxes with no problem. More info on scewed-up attachements! Originally only concerned sending from a PC to a Mac. Partial solution at the bottom. Mac users will be especially interested, but so will Eudora users. I'm using Eudora v7 on my XP machine and for some reason, have suddenly lost my preview pane for any mailbox. "options", "viewing mail" is still checked for 'use microsoft's viewer' and 'use separate settings from I.E.' and as far as I can tell [default settings I believe and I.E. is working okay], no changes have taken place. Strange Send Mail Error

Eudora 5.2 Nothing has changed computer or configuration wise but for some reason mysteriously Eudora has started to generate this error at random when sending mail. It then dumps outgoing mail into queue without sending. Can ony be sent if opened and "Resend" is selected. Did a brief Google search for this error to no avail.... more »

Long list of mailboxes truncated

I have several mailbox folders that contain many mailboxes. When I want to transfer a message most of these long ones open a window that extends the full hight of the screen with a scroll arrow at top and bottom. Over 15 years of Eudora use, mis-use and mistakes I've managed to collect tens of thousands of emails. They're mostly sorted into appropriate mailboxes, zealously backed-up and used not so infrequently. Any Spell-Check Sugestions for 7.1.0.9?

Yes, Eudora's default spell-checker would have caught the misspelling in the header here, but most of the time the suggestions are totally bizarre! Is there a (preferably freeware) spell-checker plug-in that is compatible with Eudora? I see a bunch out there, but no objective reviews. Anything would help. : () )... more »
