Eudora 7.1.0.9 Will No Longer Play a Sound When Emptying Trash

Group: Using 7.1.0.9; all of a sudden I've noticed I cannot get a
sound when emptying Trash! "Getting Attention" still shows"Play a
Sound" is checked, and I do get a sound when new mail is downloaded,
but not when emptying Trash...have unchecked, then re-checked, to no
avail..

Outbox TOC trashed?

My v7.1.0.9 stopped showing sent mail in the outbox a week ago. I'd
just mailed some large photo attachments. The first batch showed up
just fine in the Outbox, but the resend to another recipient never did
(even though apparently all Sent mail has been received on the other
end). Neither have any mails sent subsequently.... more »

Installing Eudora 5.1 on new PC with Windows 7

I have been using Eudora 5.1 on a PC with XP. I just purchased a PC
with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and would like to try to continue using 5.1.
From reading some posts, I think I got the gist of the install
process, but if there is a step by step guide it would be greatly
apprecaited.

stabizedly sort/maintain Eudora OSE "mailboxes" - How?

We understand that the (supposed) Eudora work-alike, EudoraOSE, looks
like but does not necessarily act like real Eudora, BUT:
We'd appreciate knowing from someone who knows the answer, How can we prevent EudoraOSE mailboxes from seemingly

Every once in awhile (maybe once a week) the following pops up as a separate
window (labeled "Eudora Update") in my Eudora v7.1.0.9 (paid, on a Lenova
laptop).
Anyone know what it's all about?

Viewing Incoming E-mail problem

Periodically I receive E-mail from clients who use Outhouse or Outhouse Excuse
...
So the text is all run together, no carriage returns, etc., difficult to read.
I can right click and send to browser, and it looks normal.
Is there any way to see it "properly" in Eudora (EP v7.1.0.9, paid)?... more »

Setting up Eudora to work with Yahoo mail?

I thought that was not possible since I've been under the impression for many years Yahoo needed to be a POP3 account in order for it to work. Unless of course there's a difference when using a "paid?" Yahoo email account?...something I don't even know if they have. I know Gmail can be set up with Eudora because it's a POP3 account.... more »
