In the "status" column of the "Out" mailbox?
"Ripped paper" is a symbol last used in Eudora version 5,
equivalent to "red dot with cross" in later versions,
meaning an unsendable message, due to an error.
A rebuilt "Out" mailbox TOC
will have this status for every "recovered" message.
What sort of "correction" do you want to make?
It is not possible to re-create the actual original status,
after TOC entries are rebuilt.
One should try to avoid having TOC's rebuilt at all.
If it's already been done, however, and if you want
to change the "error" symbols to "sent" symbols, then see:

If you were using a later version of Eudora,
there would likely be some automatically made backups
of the "Out" (and "In") mailboxes,
which you could restore.
