I'm using Eudora 7.1.0.9 and have one big gripe that maybe someone can help with. When reading the previews (bottom pane) and scrolling down through my inbox (top pane), some emails cause the windows focus to shift from the top pane to the message in the bottom pane. Not sure what coding is set within a message but that sure can be a nuisance when quickly browsing my inbox and just deleting the unwanted stuff. Anyone know how I might 'force' the focus to remain on my inbox where I can just scroll through without having to click back to the other pane to move focus? thanks

Try turning off "Use Microsoft's viewer" in "Viewing Mail" options.
