I helped/persuaded a friend to switch from Win to Mac. He was using Eudora Win and set up his replies so that the cursor was at the top, followed by a blank line, followed by the quoted text _unselected_. Running Eudora 6.2.4 on Snow Leopard. I have just run into my first major issue. My inbox (local version of an IMAP inbox) has become corrupt. When I open a message what I get is fragments of an earlier message. I tried restoring from a Time Machine backup. Images inline or as attachments

I received an email with a number of images as part of the body of the message. I forwarded it to a friend, and the images came up as attachments to the message I was sending. She would prefer them to be as part of the body and asked me to send it again that way. How do I do that?

Yesterday I again started getting that darned "No response from server" error message from Eudora (6.2.4) when I send queued messages. Unwanted Eudora file downloads and mailboxes?

I seem to be receiving a few unwanted email messages recently (ads or solicitations of various sorts) that leave residual image files or PDF files behind in my Downloads folder, even after I delete the messages themselves. long incoming messages

Eudora splits long incoming messages into two or more parts. How can I stop this behavior? Is there a Eudora setting that does it. and if so which one? I use Eudora 6.2.4 under OSX 10.4.11. Thanks. Art Evans

Duplicate Mime-Version headers?

I'm using Eudora Mac 6.2.4. It puts 2 Mime-Version headers in my outgoing messages. This causes some picky ISPs to reject them. Has anybody else encountered this glitch with Eudora? Any suggestions for making it behave better?

I am one of those dinosaurs who believes that Eudora at ver 6.2 does everything I want an email program to do, but a large Inbox got corrupted and I decided to archive that, and reinstall Eudora altogether an start again, just to be sure the corruption would not spread further through my system.
