I've been using Eudora Pro 4.0 on a Mac for some time. All of a sudden
today I'm getting the following error in the TaskPrograss Dialog box;
"Error while sending mail for <Dorimant>: An address is too long or
otherwise malformed. Mail cannot be sent with such an address (1:260)

First of all, does anyone have a list of all the error messages? More
specifically, how do I find out which message is "malformed". Is there a
size limit on an Internet mail address?

I did send a mailgram about an hour ago to the following address

margaret....@sunmail.chinalake.navy.mil (Margaret Cartwright)

Is that too long. BTW, the mailgram DID go thru OK. Now all I have is
this pesky error message popping up all the time. It bugs me

Ideas?

Ron

Isn't the offending message still in your OUT box, unsent?
I got a message like this when I had a < without a > in the To: field
of a message.
