I had planned to migrate from Eudora to Outlook over Easter and having
just made the move I have found that Outlook does do what I need e.g.
can't edit redirected messages or create templates (easily). Despite
its age Eudora is still the best email client I have (I use Mail and
Outlook for work and they are inferior in comparison)

I am looking at a number of options:

1) Go to Lion and install Fusion and install Snow Leopard Server and
keep on going with Eudora - is anyone doing this and are there any
issues (performance, crashes etc)
2) Mailforge - I have not looked at this yet, should I?
3) Eudora OSE 1.0 - how well does this work?

The main Eudora feature I am looking for is the ability to redirect a
message with the original sender in the from field (not by way of or
my address included) as I use Eudora to manage a mailing list that
involved redirecting to a secret address. I also need to be able to
edit the email before I redirect.

I am getting desperate as I guess like many Snow Leopard users I need
to upgrade before MobileMe comes to an end...

Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Sparing you the full saga of delays, bugs, missteps, etc., at last count
they are promising a version 3.0 next week. So, perhaps we will know by
then whether there is any "there" there. I say "perhaps" because we've
heard this song before. Some are still keeping half an ear tuned, just
in case, whereas others have long ago tuned out. I'll be the first to
sing the song here if it has any kind of melody or harmony.

(Sorry, that metaphor got away from me a bit).
