Dear All ᅵ

It seems like since the move to OS X 10.5.x on my G5 PowerMac, but I get a
lot of error messages from Eudora (6.2.4b4) saying:

"Couldn't open mailbox.

(-43); The document was not found. (45:189)"

I think it's downloading .eml files, and the messages always come in pairs.

Any thing I can do about it?

TIA

I don't have a solution for you, but here are a couple of data points
to use in your troubleshooting. My version of Eudora is 6.2.4. Period.
(No b4)

This version runs fine, with no errors, on my iMac G5, 10.5.8

Cheers,

Darrell

Thanks for that Darrell, 6.2.4 downloaded and installed. I'll see if that
fixes the problem.

I'm using 6.2.4 on a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8, and it works very well
except for my custom alert sounds, so I'm using the defaults for them.
No other problems.

Ah! That makes sense - a filter that has had its destination removed. I've
just been through and cleaned out several that have non-recent "last-used"
dates.

Thanks - I'll see how I get on.
