I'm running RedHat 8 (I know, I know) on a router/firewall box. Recently,
I installed elm-ME+ 2.5 so I could read MIME attachments.

It works fine, except that when it rewrites a mailbox in the spool
directory, it
changes the separators between messages in a funny way. Elm itself, or
mutt,
can still see all the messages in the inbox, but /bin/mail and Qpopper, my
POP
server, cannot. To those other clients, it looks like the messages are strung
together
into one or two huge messages.

What's going on here? Is there a setting I can change to prevent this
phenomenon?
The ancient version of elm on the RH8 box did not have this problem.

Elm ME+ 2.5 PLalpha10 includes changes from Elm 2.4ME+ PL122j (25)

This is probably that bug which is fixed on Elm 2.4ME+ PL123a -patch:

- "Looking at my incoming mail I noticed that there is no
space (empty line) between the end of one message and the
beginning of the next message".
Reported by: Noam G. Nudelman <no...@mail.biu.ac.il>
> This is regression of Elm 2.4ME+ PL123 (25) or
Elm 2.4ME+ PL122j (25). With IMAP fix from 122j
content length does not include ending empty line of mail.
Fixed mbx_mark_keep_normal() for that.
WARNING: On MMDF case mbx_mark_keep_normal() is not fixed
and is probably broken.

I built Elm 2.4ME+PLT123b, and it works fine.

Thanks!
