In the recent poll I've seen that xharbour have been used on a Mac. I
recently had to migrate some applications from Win to OSX and I did
not even think about porting xBase like code.
As I'm not using xHarbour and I do not have any experience with it I
will be interested in having some suggestions on how get in working
under OSX:
1 > Is any Mac specific install or distro of it?
2 > Is it only used for terminal based app.s or anybody uses GUI
integration? Any suggestion?
3 > Any way to get it work with Cocoa or Mac native APIs?
4 > What is the most used C compiler for the platform?
In other terms how to start using xHarbour under Mac?
Any lead will be appreciated as it will open a new scenario for me,
something I never consider before.
Regards and thanks to everybody...

No, sorry, not at this time.

xHarbour does not have a GUI layer for MaxOSX. Thought I'M VERY
INTERESTED IN THIS ;-))

Not that I know. Anyone?

I think it will be GCC.

Maybe Luiz can help you with that. Luiz?
Or any other MacOSX user?

Are there more people interested in a MacOSX port of xHarbour, including GUI?

Giorgio,

look at fivetechsoft.com, there is an early version of a gui
for Mac. You can ask Antonio Linares to get more
informations about its development
