Hi all,

I have recently prompted a sourceforge project called "RSS 3D" which is
a rss reader like the name said but using the VRML technology to make
an appealing 3D interface. The demo is nothing but a vrml scene updated
by a small Ajax script. The principle of this project is the same as
the Microsoft RSS 3D but we enjoy it on the web. We can also think
about integrate other protocols to make this visualization method as
general as possible. A primitive website and demo can be looked at in
the following urls:

http://panorama.yinsi.org
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rss3dreader/

At this moment the scene can only run under Bittmanagement contact.
sorry about that...

Any comments and participants are welcome.

Its hard to tell how this works on a technical level, rather than the
theory behind it. For example does it work with rss files stored on
other websites ?

I'd be more interested in this project when the code is released and I
can see what else it is capable of doing.

Good luck with this, let us know what progress you make.

The source is released and I tried to develop UI using the google ajax
toolkit, which can take down the weakness on UI in VRML and I think
it's a very powerful combination.

You can access the latest version by http://panorama.yinsi.org/ and
thanks for your comments.
