Hello to All:

Just in case anyone is interested, these are the results of a script I
have inside my vrml on the web.
The script pulls an image based on the browser name being used to view
my worlds.
These results for August are based on hits to my two vrml sites 2001 and
WTC below.

Seems that Cosmoplayer is the primary browser for people visiting my sites.

1. cosmo 53 63.9%
2. blaxxun 23 27.7%
3. cortona 7 8.4%

I ran a simular test myself by posting the link to this group alone,
and I got different results.From memory Contact was 1st then Cortona
and Cosmo player. It was close for second though.

For contact at least the results are:
1) Blaxxun Contact 5.104 (and by over 3X the hits of other versions)
2) BS Contact 6.1
3) BS Contact 6.109
4) Blaxxun Contact 5.103

The hits for Contact 4.4 are 2, which really means no one is using that
version anymore.

There is a real difference between content viewed by developers and
content viewed by the general community. I can't see anyone else
seeking out an installer for Cosmo Player.

Some sites favour Cortona over others browsers and as a result get more
cortona users. Its also dependant on what sites link to, Cortona sites
tend to link to other Cortona sites and the same for Blaxxun Contact
multiuser.

Also any vrml with a Blaxxun chat frameset version will massively skew
the results in favour of Contact.
