white_dune is a graphical editor, a simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller,
a animation tool and a compiler for the Extensible 3D Standard
(X3D(v): ISO/IEC 19776-2.2:2008) and Virtual Reality Modelling
Language (VRML97: ISO/IEC 14772) in development.
white_dune can read X3DV/VRML97 files, display and let the user change
the scenegraph/fields.
white_dune has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer" capable
stereo visuals and 3D input devices like spacemouse/spaceball, joystick
or dials (e.g. SGI-dials or dials builds from LEGO NXT robot parts).
white_dune can export the static data of the X3D scenegraph to sourcecode
in the programming languages C, C++ und java.
The exported data is independent of any 3D API, but can be rendered via
callbacks.
Examples are available for OpenGL (C/C++) and jMonkeyEngine (java).
white_dune can write the complete sources required to compile a module
of the SUN wonderland multiuser 3D world.
