PhD Positions at ETH Zurich

The Chair of Programming Methodology is recruiting PhD students to do
research in the following areas:
• Static program analysis, especially abstract interpretation for
mobile TouchDevelop applications
• Verification of concurrent programs, especially Scala programs
• Programming languages
• Programming environments

Key requirements for successful applications:
• Strong commitment to research
• Interest in combining theory and practice
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills, both oral
and written
• Excellent M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or in a related subject
with a strong Computer Science component. We will also consider
outstanding candidates with a B.Sc. degree.
