Tyring to compile the iocpsock extension for Win64 fails due to the
inline assembler used in some files which according to the Microsoft VS
documentation https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/4ks26t93.aspx
is not supported on x64.
Does anyone have some advice how to handle this short of substituting C
for the inline assembly?

Ok, problem solved, forget it. The _asm is not used anyway.
