TCL 2008 First call for participation and papers
==================================
http://www.tcl.tk/community/tcl2008/

On October 20-24, 2008,  the city of Manassas, VA will play host to Tcl
2008.
Join us for what promises to be a memorable, informative and fun
conference.

   July 15, 2008

This year we will be making the conference proceedings available as an
on-demand book using http://lulu.com

Just as a matter of curiosity, am I hallucinating or is this a change
from Philadelphia in September?

I wasn't hallucinating. The wiki http://wiki.tcl.tk/20100 shows
September and Philidelphia. This page http://www.tcl.tk/community/tcl2008/
has the new location but gives both the old dates and the new (without
recognition of the contradiction.).

http://www.tcl.tk/community/tcl2008/ says the abstract deadline is August
15, 2008.

Which is the correct deadline?

(Also the web page gives two sets of dates for the conference - the bold
text at the top of the page says September 24-28, 2008.)

Keith.

This is a change from the original plan to hold the conference in
Philly, due to Sean 'hypnotoad' Woods's relocation to the DC area.

As the guy accepting the abstracts, given the conflicting dates I'll go
with the 'supermarket' policy of the date most favorable to the customer
(August 15) and change the dates for the second CFP which wil probably
come out May-ish.

Ron
