Hello.

When bug 2176669 will get fixed? It was reported 2008-10-18,
Alexandre Ferrieux provided a patch... Nothing happened after that.
Why?

One has to scream a lot here in order to have attention on some bugs.

Or apply it for your own builds, distribute your core with your product
and keep "bumping" the SF bug tracker with comments until heard. Its
just bad coverage in terms of CYA to have to be dependent on others for
something vital to product delivery which relates directly to personal
income. That's a rather bad position to be in.

Thanks for the reminder. I had completely forgotten it, and I see the
prio was low (5).
Upping it to 8 since it produces a very bad-looking error message. I
still depend on Andreas to answer the Why question though :/
