Crash with ActiveTcl 8.5.1 when switching tile themes under vista...

Hi all,

I have observed a problem with 8.5.1 under windows and tile.
I am using ActiveTcl 8.5.1, but I am not sure that the problem relates
to ActiveTcl, now that tile is in the core...

The problem is observe is that I have an app that uses tile. I can start
up the app, and run it without a problem. Everything is normal again if
I start switching tile styles. Everything is normal, except with
winnative: either the first time or at most the second time I switch to
this style, I get a fatal error in wish: "unable to alloc <some huge
number> bytes".

The call stack shows the error happens from tk.dll, but I have no more
info, as there are no debugging symbols.

Has anybody observed a crash with the winnative style?

I don't have direct access to a Vista machine right now. I'm still
waiting for the day when someone writes something good about it. ;)

Like it or not, 12% of the world OS marketshare are Vista machines.
That's already more than the Mac marketshare and 17x more than Linux...
If Windows users are considered important to Tcl/Tk it seems like Vista
should be given appropriate attention. Anyone know what % of Tcl/Tk
users are Windows users?
