Hi,

I read the description of Ala Qumsieh's Tk:Toolbar, written for
Perl:Tk. It seems to be one of the more full featured Tk based
dockable toolbars I was able to find via Google.

Unfortunately, I'm programming in Tcl. Is there a "port" of this
toolbar available for TclTk?
The only other dockable Toolbar I found for Tcl is written by George
Petasis.

I also saw a paper by Ron Wold and Brian Griffin from Model Technology
which talked about developing dockable panes as part of the framework
for ModelSim. Have they released any of the Tcl/Tk code they
developed?

Thanks,

Jeff

You can find the toolbar code at ftp://ftp.model.com/pub/tcl. It
hasn't been updated for some time, so there are bugs present, I'm
sure. The toolbar implementation requires TIP #125 to implement the
"undock" feature. This TIP, although accepted, has not been completed
for the Mac OS X platform, but otherwise is good to go.
