I just wanted to express my thanks to all members of comp.lang.tcl for
being such a generous resource of useful information and support.
Even the most basic beginners-FAQ-like questions (which I myself
sometimes wonder whether they are plain trolling attempts) are answered
with great details and respect. And also not-so-basic questions are met
by experts which actually can contribute if not a solution then at least
a hint where to start.
I just had the opposite experience in some linux newsgroup where most
basic things like NFS-mounts don't work any more after an OS upgrade,
and questions are answered with a rude 'RTFM' or worse.
