Version 6 is a major release featuring:
- Rewritten user guide. This is available at

- Memory leaks (some serious) fixed
- New unary sort operators '<=' and '>='
- Relaxed rules for array constants
- Again allow indirect full indexing (problem introduced by v. 5)
- Allow functions with no arguments
- Interface to the cartographic projection package PROJ.4
- Interface to GSHHS Shorelines data
- Bug fixes and enhancements to Tcl library, including plot_nao

Wonderful! I was able to make good use of it, processing a NetCDF file
today. I did find one bug - an error message about a shared Tcl_Obj.
If I can reproduce it, I will send a report.
However, it is just marvelous to be able to read such files with a mere
single line of code :)

Oh, one drawback: I can not load NAP into tclkit.
I tried it with tclkit 8.4.13, but it fails with some system error when
I do "package require nap"
Pity. Maybe tclkit 8.5a4 will do the job?

It fails with 8.5a4 too. But I use the binary version for Windows as
available on the SF download page. Perhaps that is not compiled
with the -DUSE_TCL_STUBS flag?
