What's major difference between tcl7.4 vs tcl8.0, and tk4.0 vs tk8.0?

I'm running a program based on tcl7.4 and tk4.0.
Now tcl8.0 and tk8.0 is available, I'd like to
know the major enhancement/capability in the
new version.

Can anyone tell me where to get the information?

it's only in alpha 1, and (hopefully) not set in stone yet. i wouldn't get
too het on jumping over to 8.0 right now.
