Connection to Oracle db from Visualworks on mac osx

I have downloaded the latest oracle mac osx instant client 10.2.0.4
and set it up.  I can connect to
a database using sqlplus just fine.  However when I try and connect
through Visualworks 7.6nc it
gives me the following.

Database client libraries are not accessable.

Has anybody gotten this to work?
