Hello all,
In our work we are using Dolphin for our products.
Up to now we were using STS as source repository. I think that Andy in
Object Arts were using an external source control system, can you tell
me how we can do that?
I was looking and could see that can save packages in PAX format
(one .cls file by class and one .pax file for the package). Could we
use, for example, Git for Source Control System if we export packages
as PAX format?
How did you do this in Objects Arts?
Are there other "Dolphiners" using an external source control system?
What are your feelings?

Thanks in advance!

Guillermo,
I've created a quick video showing how we use Dolphin with Microsoft
Visual SourceSafe. You should be able to perform similar steps with
other file-based SCCSs like Git etc. Indeed, I would expect that you can
avoid having to perform the "version label hack" mentioned in the video
(necessary because of a deficiency in SourceSafe).

Unfortunately, we don't have any direct experience of alternative
systems so I can't give any explicit advice on anything other than
SourceSafe. Maybe other users will be able to share their experiences
(if any).

You can find the video here (http://bit.ly/externalsccs) or in the
Object Arts video library.

Best regards
