It is curious it wasn't mentioned here.
Which is the main mean of communication with the Dolphin community.

Bruno was just faster,
it will be also here announced.
We are transitioning these days to the beta.
There were delays due to the required work in the VM.
Also we decided to use a single source of the latest LSWVST-VM & the DNG-VM
which was not so easy to achieve.
The good news is that DNG runs now on this very fast VM ( It is in macro
benchmarks 3 times faster than the VM used a year ago to run
Dolphin 6 in a LSWVST environment which was already fast).
While we target a final DNG-VM for Tarision DNG itself will be beta &
declared final if all the tests passed.
With the new VM & we have some crashes in connection with the fast
JIT-Engine ).
We will ltry to keep www.dng.st up-to date & post also here.

So, I guess this event has happened, but I can not find any trace of
it, not just on smalltalk newsgroups, even not on the DNG website.

I am putig a lot of energy not to sound too negative about DNG and to
give it a chance it rightly deserves, but the whole project up to now
has been very autistic, and I strongly believe that has to
dramatically change if project is to succeed.

Summaries, presentations, benchmarks, movies from the event, in depth
information on the technical characteristics, and most importantly
tangible road map and downloadable betas. Please.

I am hopeful that once things are further along on a technical level
that Lesser-Software may be able to benefit from some of Andy Bower's
experience and skill in communicating with the Dolphin Community.
Dolphin, and Object Arts are very well polished. The Lesser-Software
website looks like it was optimized for Lynx. I think OA may have
spoiled us. ;)

Lesser-Software seems to be very technically savvy. However I think it
will take more than technical savvy for DNG to be a successful product.
I am keeping an open mind. Perhaps in the next few months we will
have a better idea of what the future holds.

I've almost given up and this is after gaining access to the DNG
portal. I am very disappointed in the whole process from the
beginning, about a year ago now. I hope things turn around very soon,
as I’m no longer optimistic.

Free downloadable betas might help, indeed.

What is interesting: Not even the price of the workshop was told to
the public.
