Smalltalk Position
The role would provide project leadership and direction within the
Technical Architecture Group. Responsibilities include providing
project leadership and direction over; architecture research,
technology evaluations, product recommendations and prototypes. This
position will also act in a facilitative role towards the development
and implementation of; various dimensions of enterprise architecture,
including standards & guidelines, architecture processes, architecture
principles, architecture governance mechanisms, architecture
education, best practices, and metrics. This position would also
oversee the development and maintenance of an architecture repository.
An ideal candidate has very deep and diverse technology exposure to
areas similar to those being deployed within a financial investment
company, as well as excellent project leadership, project management
and communication and facilitation and budgeting skills.
Required Skills:
-Extensive applications development and/or systems development
experience
-Strong architecting, applications, information, and/or technology
infrastructure
-Strong project leadership & project management, communication skills,
and facilitative skills
-Development skills with multiple programming languages - i.e.;
Smalltalk, Java, C, VB, Scripting languages
US Citizenship or Green Card required
Desired Skills:
-Enterprise architecture experience
-Applications, Information, and/or Infrastructure architecture
experience
-Expertise working with Application Services & Middleware UNIX, NT,
AS/400, Data Modeling, and networking
-Expertise in Systems Development, Systems Management, Storage
Management, and Security
