I've been hacking Scheme 9 from Empty Space in the past weeks and
it now offers

- more Unix system call/library procedures

- some basic networking support

- cursor addressing with Curses

- a vi-style editor with Scheme interaction buffer,
online help, infinite undo/redo, pretty-printer,
etc.

The editor is written in R4RS Scheme (plus some S9 extensions).

The code is as free as can get: public domain, CC0, whatever you want.

If you want to get the sources, I am sure you can find them. :-)

Good luck!

Nils

Beautiful, thank you! I liked the adventure, it works even under Lynx.
