Hi all,
I'm looking for a graduate ruby developer to work in Bath, UK. You
must be in commuting distance of Bath (no tele-working) and currently
have the right to work in the UK.
Job description is as follows:

Details
uCratos provide consultancy and software for the telecoms industry,
specialising in renewable power systems for mobile phone base
stations.
We are seeking to recruit a graduate software developer to work on our
site monitoring solution; this provides operators with visibility of
the status of the power systems on remote sites.
You need to be proactive, and able to work as part of a small team in
a dynamic environment. The role may require occasional international
travel to meet clients; good interpersonal skills are necessary.
Required skills and experience:
Ruby language preferred. Significant experience in Python would be
considered
Experience in agile and test-driven software development
methodology
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably git.
Familiarity with linux operating system
Familiarity with database systems (preferably MySQL)
Embedded systems experience a bonus.
Experience with Ruby on Rails a bonus
You will be expected to contribute to the continuing development and
test of our software solutions, and to grow in the role, becoming a
technical authority on our system, and contributing to the product
roadmap.
uCratos are a start-up, so you can expect it to be hard work, fun, and
to be given more responsibility than you would get in a large
organisation at this stage in your career.
This is a full-time role based at our office in Bath. We offer a
starting salary of £25k per annum. You must have currently have the
right to work in the UK.
