Subject: [OT] Refresh Phoenix (AKA Not-quite Phoenix.rb)
Tomorrow, Tuesday November 8, will be the first Refresh Phoenix[0]
gathering. Refresh Phoenix is a community of designers and developers
working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of
Internet developers in the Phoenix metropolitan area.   (We copped the
concept from Refresh Dallas[1].)

If you're a Ruby hacker in the Phoenix area I expect this to be well
worth attending. There is no active Phoenix.rb group right now, but I
have hopes that, among other things, Refresh Phoenix will help get that
group rebooted.

I so wish I could attend, but at that time I should be unloading my
moving truck after escaping NYC. I am eager to join the Ruby and
WebDev community in the area. It'll have to be next time tho :(

Please announce with more time for planning.

Ah!  Well, as one transplanted New Yorker to another, welcome to the
Sonoran Desert.

I will.  It only occurred to me at the last minute to mention it here.
