Dear all,

PEP 245 and 246 about interfaces for python are both rejected for
'something much better' (GvR in 246's rejection notice). Does anybody
know what this is? I am *very* curious!

Given that was in 2001, probably Python 2.2.

Abstract Base Classes (ABCs) fulfill a similar purpose:
