I have down-loaded and installed Amzi Prolog v8-0-6 which comes with the
Eclipse IDE. I am running Win7-64 full retail version.

In fact I have installed it twice once in Program Files (x86) and then I
un-installed and put it in D:\Apps.

When I go to File -> New -> Project I get a dialog box, a blank dialog box
telling me to select a wizard, there are no wizards.

Also when I go to the Project menu 'Open Project' is grayed out.

So I have this marvellous tool and the trial period is ticking but I can't
use it :-(

I have asked a question in the Amzi forum but has anybody here any
suggestions? I am tempted to un-install and then just re-install Amzi
Prolog and see if I can use it with Ultraedit, but I'd like to see if I
can kick Eclipse into life first.

Many thanks.

Sorry to respond to my own post but I wanted to stop anybody racking their
brain on my behalf :-)

I have fixed this by un-installing the Amzi combined package, down-loading
Eclipse ( 3 attempts as server timed out at 96%) and the Amzi core package
then installing Eclipse then Amzi core then combining them by adding the
Amzi bits to Eclipse. I then copied the Amzi configuration bits from the
Eclipse directory to a safe place.
I then un-installed Amzi core and Eclipse, re-installed the full Amzi
package and copied over it the saved Amzi configuration files. It now
works. Amzi need to realise that those of us on the Dark Side need our
hands held better than this!

The facts, although interesting, are irrelevant
