Topics in Logic

Hi all,

I just started my PhD study in the field of computational logic and
now looking for some potential topics. Could anyone please give me
some suggestions regarding the following directions (others are very
welcome):

1. Knowledge Representation: there are many LP semantics created for
solving (newly) knowledge representation problems of LP, e.g. Stable
model semantics, Well-founded model semantics, paraconsistant, ....Are
there KR problems that no existed LP semantics has resolved or well
resolved?

2. Combination of Logic with other fields: what other fields (e.g. in
AI) that logic can help to improve? and also, what the ideas from
other fields can help logic? I know that Neural Network and LP have
been combined well. Are there are other potential combinations being
explored or unexplored?
