Hi !

----

A long time I thought that there are only four possible orientations in
postscript:
1. "landscape"
2. "portrait"
3. "reverse-landscape"
4. "reverse-portrait"

... but now I heared about a 5th one - "seascape"

Can anyone describe how different "seascape" is from the others
([1]-[4]) ?
Are there any other orientations beyond these five listed here ?

----

Bye,
Roland

"Seascape" is a pun on "landscape", "sea" being the opposite of (one
meaning of) "land". (This is a type of humor quite often encountered in
computing, as in "more"/"less", "yacc"/"bison", etc.) Thus, "seascape"
is equivalent to "reverse landscape". For "reverse portrait", there is
also an alternative (and probably more common) term, "upside down"
(which does, of course, not attempt to be humorouros).
