Micro Focus as a (US) Trademark

I sent a note earlier today, but I realized that it included HTML so most of
you wont see it. It started,

"Just in case anyone actually still believed Robin on this topic, I thought
that I would provide information from the US online "trademark home" at:

do the searches from there ans you will (eventualy) get to the following

many of the links require yout to "refreh" your search, buty even a "basic"
search of the US government site (for "Micro Focus") will show you what you
need to know.

I am not a lawyer and don't pretend to be one, but I think the OFFICIAL
(true) information on the status of "Micro Focus" as a (US) trademark is
pretty clear. I think the UK status is similar, but if you care about other
countries, you will need to check their official sites.

The only thing that is "clear" is that (at least in the US) any claim that
"Micro Focus" is NOT a valid trademark is simply WRONG.
