Hello,

I have a very good news for you, Parallel archiver version 1.83 is here,
i have enhanced it and now it's better than 7Zip and FreeArc on
compression ratio:

Here is a benchmark:

With a file size of: 753 megabytes with binary and text files inside.

FreeArc with maximum ccm compression gives: 73.5 megabytes.

7Zip with 64 megabytes dictionary size and with maximum level
compression gives: 81.2 megabytes

WinRar with maximum level compression gives: 112.8 megabytes

and my Parallel archiver with LZMA maximum level compression gives: 46.9
megabytes.

So my Parallel archiver is 36% better on compression ratio than FreeArc
ccm with maximum level compression , and it's 42% better on compression
ratio than 7Zip with 64 megabytes dictionary size and with maximum level
compression, and it's 58% better than WinRar.

Hope you will enjoy my Parallel archiver, cause it's one of the best
archiver around.

Sorry guys, i have been bugged with a bug in LZMA that
bugged the benchmarks also, and i have corrected that,
please download again Parallel archiver.


My Parallel archiver with maxi,um level compression
have the same compression ratio as 7Zip with maximum
level compression and with 8 megabytes dictionary size,
and is 13% better than WinRar with maximum level compression

You can download again Parallel archiver, that is very stable,

Could you please stop posting every little change indiscriminately?

If you have to post something, then save it for weekly, or better monthly
updates.
