How do you test? It would be nice if vendors published MD5's so we could
verify the integrity of files downloaded from other sources.
By "testing", I meant verifying the link is valid (points to an existing
file), the target is downloadable (no server problems) and executable
(not a corrupt archive/installer). Whether the file contains what it
said and should, is another matter - and has not been checked by me.
