Almost exactly two years ago I made a run at translating the MS/
DOS version of version 3.01 of Turbo Pascal so that it would run on a

Problem with VP on W7-64

Hi all,
Since a few weeks I've got a W7-64 Pro system and given that this allowed me to download M$ Virtual PC (and Oracle's VirtualBox), and that the problem I'm having is minor, I can live with it, well, sort of.
The problem is that the "Options->Debugger->Display Swapping" "Smart" swapping no longer works. Single stepping forces you to click on the VP... more »

Although I'm quite happy using Virtual Pascal, I've decided to give FPC (on W32) another try and, again, I'm not a very happy bunny.
I've got a program that compiles and runs cleanly in VP, yet it fails miserably in VP, and the unpleasant thing is that running it in the IDE gives me a
