I spotted this on /.

http://thecoffeedesk.com/news/index.php/archives/74

"In a software-centric world where we already have many, many
languages to program in, from scripting to bytecode compiled
languages, to frameworks on top of languages and embedded languages,
now Redmond wants to bring ANOTHER language to the table, titled
‘M’ (for Microsoft?)."

It was confusing enough when they rolled out Vista and stole that name
from the VA, now they've co opted one of the official names for
MUMPS. I think someone @ M$ has it out for us.

Check it again. There is now at least one comment about real "M"

Of course there's already follow-up posting from someone spouting the
usual ill-informed clap-trap about what Mumps is and isn't. I have to
admit that sadly I couldn't raise the enthusiasm to counter the
nonsense he came out with.

But it shows the level of ignorance that needs to be overcome before
there might be any chance of the "real" M realistically gaining any
ground.

[KSB] Yet another informed comment about MUMPS has been posted.

Macdonalds have brought out an M burger. Maybe they're out to get us as
well. :)
