Have you looked at EWD from M/Gateway (http://mgateway.com)?

Bhaskar is correct. At the core of EWD is a native GT.M XML parser.

Sorry for the later reply.

George Lily built an xpath engine in a VISTA project using Mumps. I
don't know how useful it is to you, but you may consider looking at
the code if you need that functionality.

EWD includes a pretty complete XPath implementation
