DTM from Win9x to Cache using NetBIOS over IPX/SPX?

Has anyone out there been successful in configuring a DTM system running on
Win95 or 98 so that it connects using "NetBIOS over IPX/SPX" to a Cache
system on another server (NT4 or Win2k)? We've got tantalisingly close to
achieving it, and it will work when we use NetBEUI. But site constraints
mean we need it to work with NetBIOS on IPX/SPX, so the DTM on Windows can
also reach some DTM on DOS systems at the same time.

We found article Q140256 on the Microsoft KB that suggests we might need an
updated file, available only on request from MS Support. But before we start
trying to obtain this I thought I'd ask the user community out there.
