Subject: Historic Lilith emulator and Modula-2 compiler
Because of multiple requests I've made available the sources of the
ETH Zurich Multipass Modula-2 compiler for the Lilith and an emulator,
written in C, which we used in 1983 to bootstrap to another platform.
You'll find this material along with some instructions how to revive
all this with the help of a simulator of the Interdata 8/32 from the
Computer History Simulation Project at

   http://www.mathematik.uni-ulm.de/modula/history/

Andreas.

Seems to be a DNS problem on my side, then. My ftp programs (have
tried Safari, Firefox and OS X Terminal) say "No address associated with
nodename."

   Thanks for your report!

The IP address of our FTP server is 134.60.54.5. You will find all
downloadable files at

   ftp://134.60.54.5/pub/soft/modula/ulm/history/

(Please note however that your DNS service is broken if it fails to
resolve ftp.mathematik.uni-ulm.de.)

Andreas.

Thanks for the information! For some reason I had to use 'active
mode' (-A) and pull the files with the CLI version of ftp.
