Anyone know of a usable Logo for MacOS X?
I used to use ucblogo 5.5 from the command line, but that was compiled for PowerPC, so it won't run on a modern machine.
I tried ucblogo 6.0, but the lag is unbearable (after pressing a key I have to wait a second before it appears on the screen).
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have been pretty happy with ACSLogo:

I use it under 10.6.8 but have tested it under 10.7.x as well.

TurtleArt is limited but quite fun and beautiful:

I just opened UCBLogo 6 and did repeat 4 [fd 10 rt 90], pressed Return, and it was pretty instantaneous.

It sounds like an installation issue with your UCBLogo... but, if you
can live with a subset of it, checkout: http://www.bfoit.org/itp/itp.html
The Logo interpreter is written in Java and runs as an applet and as
an application. Given a system with a Java Runtime Environment, all
you need is the file TG.jar, see: http://www.bfoit.org/itp/install.html

I had the same situation; the Mac dialects were rather limited and/or
didn't do what I wanted them to do, so I installed Wine (via macports)
and attempted to run windows versions. FMSlogo runs perfectly and it's
a very rich dialect.
