Each time my wife wants me to proof read something she has written in
Word on her machine, I panic. It's not that I never use anything else
than Emacs and Emacs-alikes, but whenever I use a wysiwig text editor
myself, I use Pages on the mac. Pages is a Cocoa program, and thus
understands the most basic Emacs control-key-bindings, which are hard
wired into my spine. But I still struggle with the fact that I have
assigned meta to the left command key on my mac, and thus frequently
quit programs when I feel like doing a "M-q" to fill a paragraph :-)
