There are posts on this group that are beyond annoying. I will not mention names or initials.

But they are not abusive. Please don't label annoying posts as abusive on Google groups. Just ignore them, and let the record speak for itself.

PS. Hopefully one day Google groups will all us to define filters to hide the annoying posts.

I think that those initials have become more topical.

Better yet: please do not interact with Usenet via Google Groups.

GGINU: Google Groups is not Usenet.

Labeling posts on GG is inconsequential from the Usenet perspective. (And
likely from the GG perspective also. If GG cared about abuse of the Usenet
newsgroups within GG, it wouldn't be brimming over with spam.

Yep. Especially when instead of "annoying" someone actually finds them perversely entertaining :)
