if hardware works 24/7 unlike a programmer

wouldnt it make economics sense to hire a lisper

then give her the equivalent of say 9 more coders salary in hardware

to achieve successful results

for example

11,000$ get you a 512G ram 16 cpu atlas from pogo linux

so 1 progrmamer is 110k

get 9 of them

then that x 10

so get 90 x atlas and 1 lisper and pay that lisper 50% over market an let them not be subject to agile bullshit or project managers

the lisper must run on a free unix such as openbsd

then do same for network by hring someone who really knows openbsd

then bam
